Alec & Emily met in Cabo in 2022 at the wedding of Emily's co-worker/bestie, (who also happens to be Alec's sister) Audrey. It was "love at first sight" for Alec who proudly told Emily that he was going to marry her the night they met. It took Emily a few more days but she now openly admits that it was "love at first sight" for her too. Fast forward, three years later, in the same beach city that they met, Alec got down on one knee and asked Emily to marry him followed by "I told you that I was going to marry you!" Needless to say, Emily is very excited to marry her (still) best friend's brother and Alec is very excited to be able to say "I told you so" for the rest of their lives.
Since the beginning, Emily & Alec have compared falling in love with each other to the same feelings as "coming home", so it only makes sense for them to vow to forever on the front steps of the place they have made so many memories...the Buchanan residence. They are so grateful to Sunny & Scott for opening their home up to celebrate their most special day yet!
